With over 20 years of experience, Chef Tetsu Haruta is a passionate and seasoned Executive Chef that possesses tremendous experience in authentic and traditional Japanese Cuisine. He has worked in some of the finest Japanese restaurants in the South Bay Area as the Kitchen Manager and is passionate about developing delicious and innovative menus to create memorable experiences for his customers while obtaining realistic profit margins. In addition, he excels when working in fast-paced result driven environment. He has a loyal following in the Bay Area and has mentored many excellent Sushi Chefs that have gone on to run their own kitchens. In August 2016, he opened Poke Poke FishBar with Martin Moreno and has been challenged to create fresh and satisfying food to match the quick service model without SACRIFICING the QUALITY and INTEGRITY of the food. Our fresh Sashimi grade fish, our many flavorful sauces and creative toppings drive sales and customer loyalty establishing Poke Poke Fish Bar as part of the Santa Clara community this past year. |
